A few months ago we showed off donations to a few shows from Fallen Leaves. Last week we finished photographing Shallon’s Totes for our 2010 donation which will be used as one of the door prizes. Our NAN donation consists of 6 traditional totes, 4 classic totes, and 10 stablemate totes.

Sarah Rose released her stockhorse stallion The Rose Reiner today. The release is a little different than Sarah has done with her past resins. There is an one month open ordering period (June 18th) where you can order him for 365.00 plus shipping. Sarah is only requiring a $50.00 deposit for those who need to make time payments. Sculpted by artist Kitty Cantrell, this full-size Morgan is destined to be made in plastic, but we could not resist releasing him in an edition of 200 resins. Beautifully cast by Resins By Randy, he is based on the Morgan stallion, Sante Fe Renegade.

This edition of 200 is in process right now. We expect to have several available at the Stone Horse’s Country Fair. We are offering you the opportunity to order yours now. These resins are hollow-cast, and are lightweight and easy to work with. As always, Randy and Deb Buckler did a fine job in creating them. New Breyer Connoisseur Model : Pandora

Breyer’s newest Connoisseur model is Pandora who is on the Rejoice mold sculpted by Sommer Prossor’s . Pandora is also painted by Sommer in a homozygous bay tobiano and is limited to 350 pieces.

Breyer Smokin Hot Chic SR

Smokin Hot Chic is a new Breyer’s new traditional special run on the swish tail Lady Phase mold available at QuarterFest. The event is at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee on April 30th through May 1st. Breyer will have a booth set up with 2010 models and stablemate painting for the kids. No word on price but there is a special price for AQHA members.

2011 Collector’s Choice Model Voting

Breyer has picked 3 finalist for the 2011 Collector’s Choice Model. Voting now open and will continue until April 5th, you can vote for your choice at breyer’s ballot on the survey monkey website. The finalist are on the Big Ben, Bouncer, and Ethereal molds.

“Black Ice” is a Rocky Mountain Horse done on the Ethereal mold #582 with a glossy dappled dark chocolate coat and a white mane and tail. He has a star and snip on his handsome face. As Meghan told us, in this color, the diluting gene has lightened the mane and tail to a white while leaving the body a very dark chocolate, nearly black color. This is a very unusual color, even on Rocky Mountain Horses, and it is rarely seen on any other breed.Submitted by Meghan Gill of Woodinville, WA.

Apple Jack,” who she describes as a “cuddly pony” on the Bouncer mold #707. His coat color is a soft and shaded red sorrel with a flaxen mane and tail streaked with pearly metallics to enhance his great hair details. Suggested by Jessica Mosley of Tok, AK

A Pinto Sport Horse on Big Ben mold #483 as a glossy charcoal pinto with a white mane and tail and three high stockings. We added a beautiful classic bald face to complete this gorgeous model. Suggested by Kellie DeFosset of Bethalto, IL.

March/April Connoisseur “Spot On”

Spot on is a lovely Appaloosa mare and is the 43rd edition of the Connoisseur line. She is beautifully detailed by Karen Williams on the Susan Carleton Sifton sculpture with mottled skin, white sclera, a spotted blanket and striped hooves. Spot On is the 43rd edition in a limited run of 350 pieces marked by the number on her hoof. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.

Whisper is Small Traditional size 1:12. Approx 7.5″ tall, and 11″ long including her tail. Modelled off HRCAV Highpoint Show horse Champion ‘Graylea Whisper’. A refined, well bred pony type, Whisper will easily pass as Part bred Arabian or Riding Pony for breed classes. She will also look gorgeous tacked up for the performance classes. Her soft canter lending itself to almost any discipline.
