News Submission Guidelines.
General Guidelines
We would like for all news submissions to give the reader a clear understanding of what the news is while on FL. Many times there are links that accompany stories with more information however we discourage submitting a story only with a link and/or a single sentence requiring the reader visit the link to get an idea of what the news is about. For example if Breyer releases a new horse, instead of submitting only a link. The news submission could include the scale, mold, and color of the horse. Along with information how what the horse is being releases for, ie collectors choice, special run, connoisseur, or monthly web special.
If you would like to submit an article that is image intensive or otherwise difficult to format in the submission form please use the contact link at the top of the page to discuss the nature of your article.
Live/Photo Show Holders
Please include the following information with your write up to your news submission if this is your first announcement on FL. All show submissions will be added to our show calendar which will link to our news story.

- Fees
- Location: (Address of the show hall. Your news submission will have a map included with the ability to create directions)
- Website: (if Available)
Optionally you may want to provide links or the documents for your class list and registration form. Just upload your document and we will host it on FL for you.
Artist
Please include the following information along with your write up to your news submission .
- Price
- Shipping Cost
- Size of Run
- Scale of model
- Contact Information: Your email address and/or website that you would like listed.
Optionally you may want to include a photo of your piece. If you would like more than 3 photos you may upload a zipfile containing your photos or just send a link to your gallery. We have the ability to include a gallery with each news post so feel free to send as many photos as you like.
What to Avoid
We do not allow sales post in the news section. We do allow announcements that are available to the hobby in mass. For example announcements of a new resin, book/magazine related to the hobby, or how to DVDs would be acceptable. A story to promote your list of horses for sale or the auction of a single piece would not be acceptable.
