We have a few things going on for the holidays this year. We will be holding our annual greeting card exchange, along with the return of our ornament contest, and a new tree topper contest.
Greeting Card Exchange
For those of you who are not familiar with the greeting card exchange its is pretty simple. When you enter we will send you list of fellow FL members to send greeting cards to. Just send the cards out to your list of people and then enjoy all of the holiday cards you receive.
To enter this year just send us an email to admin@fallen-leaves.net with your full name, address, and FL usesrname. Along with how many cards you would like to send out and if you wish to send overseas. Entries are due November 25th and your cards should be sent out no later than December 12th.
Ornament and Tree Topper Contests
This year we are holding a contest for the best horse/model horse themed ornaments and tree toppers. We will be picking three winners from each category and all of the winners will receive two of Shallon’s holiday/winter themed Mini Totes. To enter email a picture of you entry along with your full name, address, and FL username to admin@fallen-leaves.net. Each person can submit up to three entries per category.
Rules
Entries are due before the end of the day on December 21 (we are in the eastern time zone).
Ornaments and tree toppers must be real horse or model horse related.
You can use store bought items for the base of your ornament but please be sure that it is substantialy different than the store bought item. For example a stablemate with a hook added to hang it from the tree would not be allowed but if you gave it a custom paint job or deco finish then that would be okay. If you have any questions feel free to ask us.
Other than those two items let your creativity go wild, anything goes.
Horse Themed Trees
Do you love horse ornaments as much as you do model horses? Well if you have a tree that is completely horse themed send us pictures to admin@fallen-leaves.net and we will add them to our holiday gallery. It can be this year’s tree or a tree from past years.
