The North American Budenny Society Presents: Feb. Art Contest to Celebrate Site Opening
Submissions may begin to come in Sunday, Feb. 8th until Saturday, Feb. 28th. Top three and winner will be announced on March 1st.
The winner will have an article featuring them and their art in the March Edition of The Golden Horse Quarterly and the winning piece will be displayed on the North American Budenny Society homepage for a month. The top three runner-ups will be placed in the Gallery.
Submission Guidelines:
+Submissions must be sent via e-mail in .jpg format
+Pictures should be no larger than 1000 pixels length/height-wise
+Every medium is welcome as long as it is sent in the required format
—–Digital art, photography, painting, oil, sketch, stand-alone sculpture, painted sculpture, etc.
[painted model horses may be submitted as well, photographed on a blank background, or with scenery]
[Those submitting need not be from North America or the U.S.; people from all countries welcome to contribute!]
+Art must include in some way the Budenny breed of horse; it can feature the breed in its native Russia or elsewhere.
