Ok guys! Get those creative juices flowing! I want some AWESOME photos! ^.^
This is a photo show to benefit the “Brighty/Misty Rescue” Yahoogroup! I am trying to kick this thing off… and in order to do that… it’s time to Fundraise!
There will be several shows this year, the first one being Valentine’s/St. Patricks/Easter themed! But we also have other divisions, like OF and CM!
Deadline to enter this first show is: April 1st!
Entries will be judged on: April 22nd and 23rd!
I will be judging… and I will probably enlist the assistance of our own, Feles!
If you are not a member of the Brighty/Misty Rescue… never fear! Membership is NOT required to enter… though it is encouraged!

Photo Show Rules:
This is a show designed as a Fund Raiser for the “Brighty/Misty Rescue†Yahoogroup! We want to ‘rescue’ more unwanted, unloved models… but we need money to be able to do that!
Please consider all entry fees to be donations to the group! I am trying to fund these ‘rescues’… but I can’t do it alone! The more we rescue… the more awesome customs there will be available to us all!
So, in order to achieve our goals… and have fun doing it… I have come up with this photo show series!
Classlists for each show will be announced after the previous show is completed.
This is primarily an ONLINE photo show… however hard copy photos WILL be accepted. Email for mailing address!
Entry Fees:
1-5 photos: FREE
5-25 photos: $3
25+ photos: $5

Awards:
• Homemade rosettes for Champions and Reserves in each division.
• Homemade flats for 3rd thru 6th place in each division.
• Custom (MM or SM) by Lauren Tapley of Desert Sun Studios for Overall Best in Show.
Judging:
1. Entrants are encouraged to join the Brighty/Misty Rescue Yahoogroup, but it is not necessary for entry. The Results, however, will be posted through the group.
2. Photos will be judged on various technical aspects (lighting, clarity, frame of shot etc), as well as creativity! However creative a photo may be… if it is blurry… it may not place over a well lit, clear picture!
3. Holiday Photos will be judged primarily on the overall feel of the photo and creativity. Have fun and create an awesome scene for the relevant holiday! Pretty much anything goes as long as it is themed to the holiday and focuses on the appropriate model!
4. Custom Horse Photos will be judge primarily on the appropriate breed standards. These are your typical photo show entries; single model, placed in front of a backdrop etc… Again… clarity and lighting will distinguish a winning photo from a losing one.
5. Brighty models (Oliver, Mischief and Brighty) and Misty Models (Sari, Jingles, Misty and the new Grulla) are to be entered into the appropriate divisions. They may not be entered into the “Other†M. Henry model divisions.
6. Models such as; San Domingo, Sea Star, Justin Morgan, Brown Sunshine etc… may be entered in the “Other M. Henry Model†divisions (OFs belong in the OF divisions, and Customs of these models belong in the Custom division etc.)
7. Even models such as; Silver, Sherman Morgan, Phar Lap, Huck Bey etc, may be entered in this divisions. As long as the mold has, at one point, portrayed a Marguerite Henry inspired model by Breyer.
8. Classes may be split or combined at the judge’s discretion, depending on entries received.
9. Online Entries will be uploaded to a Webshots Album created specially for these shows (user name and password will be emailed to entrants after fees, if any, are paid.
10. When uploading to the Webshots Album, please identify:
• Class number
• Horse’s name
• Breed
• Gender
11. Other than that… just about ANYTHING goes!
12. Questions about where something goes, or anything else… just ASK! ^.^
